Having gained experience as a cutter or colourist you can apply to be an educator teaching in one of Sassoon's prestigious Academies. Clear communication skills are a must as Sassoon's reputation is such that you will find yourself teaching students from all over the world. Your job is to impart the celebrated Sassoon ABC methodology of hair design including its key techniques and aesthetics. Suitability for each individual client is of paramount importance so you will liaise between student and client making sure that high technical standards are maintained at all costs. You will need dedication and the ability to recognise and develop the potential in others. You should be able to think on your feet, be passionate, confident and enthusiastic - and be prepared for international travel updating the hair world on Sassoon's latest cutting edge developments.
